Hand Prints from from the 16th century
Workers have left hand prints on the ceiling in their cava cellar
When building the ceiling of the cava cellar most workers left their hand prints to demonstrate how many bricks each of them has lifted up and collocated. This used to be a very common way of keeping record of one’s work. Today the handprints are a record of the past that we keep visible as it makes us remember how a part of this guarding place came into being.
